I like to take those poop bags and open them up before going outside in the winter. Sometimes they can be hard to get opened, especially when it is cold. If you lick your fingers, then rub the open end, they open easier. Do this before going out and you don’t have to worry about it.

When training your dog, use soft treats, like some baloney or pieces of hot dog. Cut them up small so the dog can eat them quickly. This way if you are walking your dog, it doesn’t lose some of a brittle biscuit and it doesn’t have to slow down or stop. It can take the treat right at your side while walking. This is a good way to encourage the dog to walk at your side and stay with you.
