Science Birthdays, November 15

Today is the birthday of Sir William Herschel, born in 1738, He discovered Uranus and two of its moons along with two moons of Saturn.  He also composed 24 symphonies.  Here’s another thing that most people don’t know, he was the first to suggest that coral was an animal not a plant, based on his microscopic observations of the cells.  Did you read that he composed 24 symphonies. How many people do stuff like that?
