4/3/1902          Alfred Kastler             physicist          developed optical pumping which  led to the discovery of masers and lasers.

4/3/1934          Jane Goodall               primatologist, considered to be the world’s foremost expert on chimpanzees, she is the founder of the Jane Goodall Institute.
