1905    An earthquake in India hit the Kangra Valley, killing 20,000 people.

1918    The first case of Spanish Flu occurs starting a worldwide pandemic.

1977    Vrancea Earthquake in southern and eastern Europe kills over 1500 people mostly in Bucharest in Romania.
