Dog Tip of The Day, May 10

This one today is a bit of trivia, but according to Guinness Book of World Records, the oldest dog alive is a 29 year old  Australian Cattle Dog named Bluey.  This is a question I get asked a lot. “How long will my dog live?”. Of course no one can tell us how long we will live, but they can tell us how long we can expect to live. The lifespan of a dog is usually around 10 to 15 years with smaller dogs more on the upper end and larger dogs on the lower end. So a Chihuahua on the 15 year end and a German Shepherd or lab on the lower end.  One thing is for sure, they don’t live long enough.
