Dog Tip of The Day, May 16

I haven’t talked about the three main drives of a dog for a while, so here it is.  Other than the sex drive, there are three main drives that govern a dog’s behavior: the pack drive, the prey drive and the play drive. The pack drive is a very strong drive. The reason why a dog will listen to you, learn tricks, and behave is because of the pack drive, they want to please you. Dog don’t like to be hurt and this drive is so strong, even when people abuse a dog, it will still remain loyal to that person. If you let it out, it will still come home. More about the pack drive and other drives over the next few days.
