1917    Tornado Outbreak sequence, 382 people were killed.

1955    A night-time F5 tornado struck the small city of Udall, Kansas killing 80 people and injuring 273. It is the deadliest tornado to ever occur in the state and the 23rd deadliest in the U.S.

1985    A tropical cyclone and storm surge killed approximately 10,000 people in Bangladesh.
