5/28/1807        Jean Agassiz,                naturalist, first to suggest that earth had experienced ice ages, studied glaciers and fossil fish, he died in 1873 at age 56.

5/28/1895        Rudolph Minkowski,   astronomer, divided supernovas into two types, he died in 1976 at age 80.
