1888    Rio de la Plata earthquake

1995    Hurricane Allison

2001    Tropical Storm Allison, struck upper-Texas coastline causing $5.5 billion in damages making it the costliest tropical storm in U.S. history.

2003    A severe heat wave across Pakistan and India reached a peak as temperatures exceeded 50 C, that is 122 F.

2015    An earthquake of 6.0 moment magnitude struck Ranau, Sabah, Malaysia killing 18 people most were hikers and guides on Mount Kinabalu and a massive landslide occurred during the quake. It is the strongest earthquake to strike Malaysia since 1975.
