6/3/1726          James Hutton,              physician, chemist, farmer, naturalist, geologist, and father of modern geology, theory of geologic time or “deep time,” he died in 1797 at age 71.

6/3/1873          Otto Loewi,                 biologist, discovered acetylcholine and is considered the father of neuroscience, he died in 1961 at age 88.

6/3/1899          Georg Bekesy,             physicist, discovered the function of the mammalian cochlea in the ear, he died in 1972 at age 73.
